THE FARLEY PROJECT is a charity aiming to make a bold impact in the ever increasing culture of bullying, is the vision of entertainment and brand publicist Elissa Kravetz. This charity has been incubating in Ms. Kravetz's heart and soul ever since she was first bullied in the seventh grade. Ms. Kravetz has named this charity THE FARLEY PROJECT as an homage to the junior high school where she was bullied but moreso because it was the very place where her spirit started to expand and understand that we are all equal and we all deserve peaceful, loving experiences in school hallways, college dorms, corporate offices and ultimately in our communities at large.
THE FARLEY PROJECT is a call to spiritual ground troops. This charity is about embedding educators and survivors into communities and shining light on this epidemic of bullying in a way that is tangible and continually helpful.
THE FARLEY PROJECT believes that bullying is not stopped by a celebrity video or a televised town hall. Sure, those things have reach however for the 14 year old who is considering ending his life because the pain is too deep, he needs someone he can see up close, a forum where he can express honestly and consistently without fear of further harassment or embarrassment. THE FARLEY PROJECT aims to stay forever, no matter how big we get, a grass roots, community effort visioning to affect change and create a new "handbook" for youth culture and ultimately our culture at large. We dare not be so bold as to say we will END BULLYING but no matter how long it takes we will raise up one community at a time and help guide them to a moment where they as a collective will simply no longer tolerate bullying.
It takes a village to raise a child. It also takes a village to protect a child.
